A bizarre light was witnessed hovering over Frodsham before it disappeared from the skyline
A UFO devotee named Colin Fowler, 56, of Ellis Lane, Frodsham, was reported in the Chester Chronicle as watching a movie at home when his family saw a cigar-shaped orange light hovering in the sky at about 10pm on Saturday, June 6 2009
Colin, a University of Manchester building manager told the press that it was a “cigar-shaped thing with sparks or flames coming out of it.”
Colin could not identify this object although he claimed that it wasn’t a lantern, a helicopter or a plane. It was nothing like that he said. It was a ball of light, hovering in the air over the marshes, towards Ellesmere Port. It lasted a few minutes.
Colin told the newspaper that he could see a red circle, it apparently made erratic movements by drifting from the right to the left and then it seemed to disappear.
Colin’s wife Hazel apparently took several photos of this UFO Before it vanished out of sight.
She said: “We saw something at the front but it moved too fast.”
