Unintentional UFO hunters - Pat Regan and his daughter Jasmine who first told 'dad' about the nearby twister
Still searching for clues to the identity of the green disc, Pat today (16th July 08) was rechecking his original images of the twister when the following was discovered..
Pat states:
"I noticed in one of the twister shots that as the storm was going away to the north three objects appear in one of the frames. Now, I was at first reluctant to broadcast this new find as I thought sceptics would cry 'hoax' and to some extent I would not blame them as 'one' UFO shot is something but to see 'other' UFOs in another shot seems very implausible. I went onto Photo Express and cropped in closely into the three objects. That resulted in them being too small to really examine so I enlarged the shots of the three unidentified specks and this is the result. They appear to be in a sort of loose line moving over the fields to the left of the twister. At first I thought one of them could be a bird, yet I am not 100% certain - the objects are of a triangular shape. Normally I would discount something like this, However, because I took that now 'world famous' green UFO shot only seconds earlier I thought it was prudent to include these new finds. It worries me not in the least if photo experts can explain the new shots away as some ordinary terrestrial matter but they are included for the sake of interest. I actually mentioned this new 'three objects' information find to UFO expert, Nick Pope, and he said that he thought the press would 'play fair' and just look into the imagery that I provided. I must thank Nick for his professional and logical help with this matter. I make no assumptions whatsoever over these new images. "
Just to the bottom left of this frame three objects can be seen clearly over the bridge. The twister is moving away to the right in this photograph.
Above are the three triangular flying objects which appeared only seconds after Pat Regan photographed the green UFO close to the twister's core
One week later - This is the old bridge at Rufford where Pat Regan took the UFO shots from
At this time the original olive green UFO was nowhere to be seen. Pat reiterated that he included these images mainly because seconds earlier he snapped the famous green UFO shot that has proved so popular with the global press. Whether or not the latest three images are related in any way to the original one is so far unknown.
Incidentally, Pat Regan also states that before this incident the nearest he had ever been to a large twister was when he painted this original watercolour below back in 1988. It was however not painted from life.
